Rainbow Bridge has the unique purpose
of initiating and cultivating ongoing, intergenerational relationships
between nursing home/assisted living elders and youth, individuals,
families, corporate, and community organizations through a variety
of programs.
The
Rainbow Bridge intergenerational programs help break down the
myths and stereotypes that result from societal separation of
the generations. Nursing home/assisted living elders who frequently
have little sense of purpose find new meaning in their lives
as generations come together to learn and grow through each other's
experiences.
